    Irving Reuter is Born

  • 1886

    Janet Graham Reuter is born

  • 1925

    Irving becomes President and General Manager of Oldsmobile

  • 1927

    Medovue Estate is completed

  • 1930

    Addition is added to the home

  • 1935

    Irving Reuter retires from Oldsmobile

  • 1936

    Janet and Irving Reuter move around Florida and settle in North Carolina

  • 1940

    Joseph H. Albers, the first Bishop of the Diocese of Lansing, moves into the home

  • 1949

    The Catholic Church owns property

  • 1950

    Seminary "Cupertino College" is built

  • 1956

    The Youth Unlimited Foundation is created

  • 1962

    Ivy Manor of Story Brook Acres

  • 1972

    Irving Reuter passes away

  • 1984

    Janet Reuter passes away

  • 1989

    The estate is converted into an inn

  • 1991

    Becomes a State Registered Historic Site

  • 1996

    The Nelson Family Purchases the Inn

  • 2002

    Dormitory is renovated into Medovue Hall
