The English Inn is the ultimate location to host your special day.  With its lovely backdrop, the Inn's natural beauty and majestic decor combine with its award winning food and service to be a most memorable setting for your wedding and reception.  Its convenient location just outside Lansing, in the peaceful countryside near Eaton Rapids, makes it easy for friends and loved ones to reach.  Whether it is a small gathering of a few cherished family and friends or a gala of well wishers the Inn offers all the amenities for a perfect occasion.

The Ceremony

The English Gardens: Our spectacular English Gardens are the crowning glory of our grounds here at the English Inn and make a wonderful setting for a romantic outdoor ceremony.

The Pergola on the Grand: The lovely wooded banks of the Grand River and our beautiful pergola offer the ultimate in outdoor venues for larger groups. Surrounded by a breath-taking white wedding garden and the symphonic sounds of the Grand River, the pergola helps create a wonderfully memorable ceremony location.

The Inn also have lovely indoor settings for smaller and more intimate ceremonies, our wedding coordinator can help you with the selecting the picture perfect backdrop for your wedding.

Holding your wedding ceremony here at The English Inn is the perfect way to add a touch of elegance to your special day. You are welcome to hold your ceremony here when done in conjunction with your reception at The English Inn. Our wedding ceremony fee is based on the ceremony site and day of the week, with an additional chair set-up fee of $1.50 per chair.

The Reception
The English Inn has several distinct locations to host your wedding reception. The ultimate setting for you and your guest will vary on several factors. Our wedding coordinator has a wealth of experience planning special events and would be happy to offer suggestions or assistance in planning.

The Inn:  Housed in a late-1920s Tudor revival country manor, The English Inn offers an elegant locale for your wedding and reception. An atmosphere of quiet sophistication almost exudes from the rich surroundings, featuring Honduran mahogany paneled walls and a classical baronial fireplace surrounded by Della Robbia carvings.  The Inn offers a wide variety of beautiful settings for both your ceremony and reception.

Medovue Hall:  Our latest addition to The English Inn.  A stunningly beautiful banquet facility named after the original estate built by Irving and Janet Rueter in 1927.  From the marble foyer in the grand entrance to Medovue Hall to the elegant fixtures and furnishings, you will find this to be a unique and charming facility.  The ballroom boasts two large chandeliers and numerous sconces that accent the walls.  Mirrors, tapestries and artwork intertwine with huge arched windows that frame views of the fifteen acre estate.  Medovue Hall has a dance floor available for your event to add to the festivities.  Although able to accommodate 200 guests, Medovue is also a comfortable and warm venue for 50 to 75 guests.
